The incredible story of a Spanish conquistador who after 87 years, still keeps his castle Parent
I was born in 1921 in downtown St Louis, Missouri in the heart of the old and the U.S.
I want to tell the story of two men of a certain small town in Missouri. One afternoon in late spring, right in the 1891 two men graduated from the university itself.
They were very similar, these two young men. Both had been better than average students, Both were affable and well liked. As graduates tend to be young. They were filled with ambitious dreams for the future.
And that graduation with college degrees day the ownership of these young people left St. Louis University to make their mark in the world. Some 30 years later, met at the opening of a new building. It was a special moment because one of the men had designed and built this magnificent building for a very important customer.
They were very similar. Both were happily married. Both had three children. And both sides are working architects.
But there was a famous architect, with projects in Chicago, New York, the capital of the State of Missouri. The other still rapporteur. The difference between the two men had a difference of capacity but a difference in the decision.
What is the difference
A man trained himself as the best architect he could and leave a legacy through his work. His dream was to build buildings stand the test of time. The other is not happy with her work on paper.
