Question for people who live in or around central Birmingham?
Hello, visit Birmingham before and after much research to find a cheap hotel in Great Colmore Street. We have a tight budget, because of reservation / decide to leave behind and I thought the minutes walk from the train from Birmingham at the hotel to further reduce costs ……. Can anyone tell me how? and to give guidance, if possible .. ETAP is the hotel we stayed at. In addition, the local hotel for nightlife? We hope to visit Broad Street, Chinatown and clubs on weekends. Would we be able to walk to the hotel? If not, the taxi is expensive? In addition, can recommend any good bars / clubs? Perhaps the low prices? We are thinking of going to Gatecrasher .. Admission Friday / Saturday night? Thanks for taking the time read / respond, Gemma.
New Street Station is about 20 minutes walk from the Etap, as Moor Street Station, Snow Hill is much more though. Its probably New Street anyway. Difficult to address here as it used to make sense when you arrive, then ask at the station. China Town is across the road and into a corner, only about 5 to 10 minutes and 20 minutes to Broad Street. You just put the gay – Hurst Street and a good laugh, and if you love food China tried Soy Cafe in front of the market and next to Spar. It's awesome! Intruder is expensive to get in and drinks are ridiculous! In places like Chinatown DV8 – £ 12 sam, free drinks until 02 hours after they are only a pound, after that, and snobs by the city is too cheap. I hope you have fun!
