I'll assume that you take the train instead of driving, so in this case I suggest you go down to Union Station. You can walk about three blocks west of Union Station and take bus No. 8 Halsted Halsted. Takes you to the heart of Lincoln. As this is a good bar, there are 50 bazillion bars there, so it is hard to say. By the way, why not go to Lincoln and Fullerton Avenue and Lincoln walk. There are tons of bars there, so if you do not like, you can leave and go to another side. I recommend any of John Barleycorn or Sterchi.
