web icons have been involved, is it a virus or something?
Some of the icons, web sites that appear in the left corner of the bar and address on your list of favorites, have changed. I know that websites can change their icons, but those who do not have chaged meaningless. Hotmail is now the symbol liverbird, other sites have what looks like the old Netscape icon, others have the Wikipedia on "W" icon when they have nothing to do with Wikipedia and some of my blog sites now have the Yahoo "Y". I realized hotmail yesterday and thought, since I am based in Liverpool, could be new regional. However, some have also changed in my Favorites file and this number has increased yesterday. Why ideas? I run Spybot and analysis Full of saying that if I had something, but clear.
How odd. Never encountered this before. Are you saying that happens on your computer or on sites surfing the Internet? I suppose I could be the virus randomly change. Why? But again, why do something with the virus, I guess. What antivirus use? If Norton or Microsoft, you may well not have bothered!
