I’m going to san antonio,tx…?

I’m going to san antonio,tx from southwest michigan the second week of february. im helping my bro drive down there cause he”s moving there. i wanted to know recommendations for the
best pizza place
best burger place
best tex mex
best mexican food.
best hot dog
best bbq
also good nightclubs/bars
what would be some good places to go to. like museums, zoos, theme parks etc…?

You can go to the San Antonio Zoo and the Ripley’s Believe it Or Not Musuem and the Wax Museum downtown. .Two exhibits under the same roof that you can pay for a good combo price. The wax museum is awesome—exact replicas of celebrities! There’s also a SeaWorld in San Antonio (which I LOVE—great entertainment) but they might be closed in February. For a nightclub you could go to Hooligan’s—I used to bartend there and it was a pretty fun and diverse bar. They’ve got the whole club scene with dancing on the weekends but they also have lots of pool tables and games and such, and Texas Holdem Poker on Monday nights I think. There’s a snake farm right off of I-35 just outside of New Braunfels (about 30 minutes away from San Antonio). It’s too bad you’re not going during the summertime or I’d suggest going to New Braunfels for an entire day to go float down the river and get drunk. That’s what everyone in Texas does during the summer. New Braunfels is one of the main tourist towns in Texas during the summer. I used to live there. But what you could do in New Braunfels right now is go to one of the oldest towns in Texas, Gruene, which is still in its old-fashioned form. One of the last places in the world that hasn’t changed over time. There’s also the oldest dance hall in Texas there, Gruene Hall. If you want to get some of the best Texas culture there is go to Gruene—it’s also right by the Guadalupe River so you can see that too. Go to the Riverwalk in San Antonio for other good bars, restaurants and just the atmosphere! You won’t be disappointed if you hit up the Riverwalk. Well anyway there’s plenty to do in that area—if you wanted to Austin isn’t even that far away, and if you go to Austin DEFINITELY hit up 6th street. That’s one of the best bar areas you can find! I’m so jealous you’re going there. I miss home. Have fun!
