Are nightclubs racist hiring white bouncers?
what the hell, I worked two different club for one night and they dont call me for work no more…
i ask them for work they say “will call”, thats rejected i know.
2nd time it happened same thing, i work one day and thats it.
WHAT IS GOING ON? because most clubs are hispanic/blacks customers, and bouncers are mostly black..so they wont hire me because im white? its in NYC.
i have all credentials 6’4, 270, licensed etc. but no experience as bouncer but 1 year as regular security. im getting my B.S degree this august.

Affirmative action is a thing of the past. Business owners now have the right to hire just about anyone they want. Most nightclub owners should hire people based on their qualities. If they are not, why would you want to work there anyway? If a business owner decides to look at, and consider, the color of an applicant’s skin when deciding who to hire, that is just a sign of there bias. What perpetuates racism in this country are the people that won’t just shut up about it. People, no matter who they are, are always going to have biases. What everyone needs to look at is the character of a person. Believe it or not, that’s what most people do. Have you ever considered what the other bouncer’s qualifications were? Maybe they had more experience than you! Maybe that’s why they were hired!
