I will be moving to DC and I need to know what some of the best areas in which you reside?
Currently, I live in the Buckhead area of Atlanta, GA. It is very nice with many shops, bars and restaurants. It is also relatively safe. Something comparable to where I now live in Washington DC a place that is relatively safe, with shops and restaurants, near Metro stops, etc. So basically do not need a car to get around. If I choose not to drive, I could walk everywhere.
Good morning. I just moved to DC a year ago and live in Herndon, Virginia. their 20 minutes of DC. You can take the bus to the subway to go where want to go. if you want to live close by and the money is not an option, you can try to Georgetown. I've always heard about DC is full of crime, but is not all, perhaps, if you live in the projects or somewhere like that. Also, Arlington is great. You'll love it here is so exciting that you never run out of things do. something about life in Washington is complete you can never find parking, EVER! So if you want the right to the city, you must purchase a parking space. good luck.
