Nightclubs in Virginia Beach…?
Here’s the situation:
My family (extensive) and I are going to be on vacation in Virginia Beach in July and I’m trying to figure out where the best clubs are ahead of time so that we won’t waste my partying time looking for just anything. I’m trying to figure out the best 21 and up clubs (more of a hip-hop vibe) and a few good 18 and over clubs.
Although I’m 22, I’m trying to be the “awesome cousin” and try to accompany my 18 year old cousins in the younger clubs since they just graduated, ya know, try to give them a taste of the 18 and up life for at least one night. After that, I’m back to the drinking of the 21 and up clubs. But anyways, everyone’s input is highly valued and greatly appreciated!

The most popular club on the strip is definitely Peabody’s. It’s 18 and up on most nights – lots of hip hop music, but they do play a variety of things.
I’ve heard good things about The Cave as well, although I’ve never personally been there.

I stay more in the Norfolk area when I go out, which isn’t too far from VA Beach (about 20 minutes). Granby Street and Waterside are notorious for their great bars/clubs.
