I live in Lake Balboa (the city between Van Nuys and Reseda) and I want to find those little know jems that are amazing! I love all kinds of food, but I’m NOT interested in Hookah lounges, or “night life. I’m not into partying and drinking and bars, I mean places that have really good food! PLEASE NO LA RESTAURANTS!!!!! i HATE LA. Only in the San Fernando Valley, Simi Valley, or Calabasas.
There is a great little place on Woodley just off of Saticoy, Called Defrankos. Its been there forever because it serves the best Subs in town. The place is tiny and just cranks out the Sandwiches. Hey, I lived in Newport and would make pilgrimages to Defrankos. I would buy 4 or 5 and stick what I hadn’t eaten in the freezer for late night raids.
