How to make money to sing without a band or record deal

When I opened a store here in Florida as a singing teacher was discouraged by voice teachers already do many things here. Then I remembered the first advertising board "know this is not what you can do, and go" (or something).

If I did some research and found (as expected) none of these teachers have been the restoration of rock and roll singers. And yet it was the 80s, the flower of heavy metals. Half of young musicians around groups and big dreams.

I have ads in publications local music, billing myself as "A master singers of heavy metal." And guess what? My phone rang and I went to the races. One of my students, a good singer and guitarist, has been seeking a way to make some extra money. More and more restaurants are hiring individual singers using strips (karaoke) songs. What about the establishment in one corner with a hat? Sounds crazy? Perhaps, but for my part, I am very tired of listening to terrible artists on the street. When I hear someone is really good, I'm good with my tip.

Look around. Be aware of what is not performing in your area and find ways to make new things happen.
