Are there any 18+ nightclubs in the Miami area?

I’m heading back to Miami for Easter weekend and one of my friends is 20 years old (in case you’re wondering, he’ll be 21 in September). For a little background, we’re from Jacksonville, FL and we went to Miami for New Years a couple of years ago and went to Club Life, which we call Club Death because when we went, there was a shooting right where we were and we almost got trampled. No no more Miami ghetto fabulous clubs for us but I digress. We want to go to a 18+ club but we aren’t quite great with the Miami area yet but I’m thinking we’d have the best luck with a Latin club but we’re down for anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated! We won’t have this problem again the next time we go to Miami because my friend will be 21 (yay!). Thanks!

I really hate to tell you this, but there really aren’t that many down there. I think Revolver is one. It says you have be 21 and over, but my friends go all the time on Friday nights (we’re all between 18-20 years). But really, the only clubs I know of that FOR SURE you can get into are in Boca Raton – Club Boca or Club Ninety9. Don’t go to either though!! Club Boca has shootings and stabbings all the time, and Club Ninety9 is a teen club. Basically a bunch of hoochie mama 14 year olds and wanna-be thug types lol. I went to Ninety9 once. Spent an hour and a half in line and 10 bucks and it was crap, haha.

Oh, there’s also Club Revolution, but that’s Ft. Lauderdale and is really hard to find.

I’d either go with your idea of checking out some Latin Clubs or maybe once you get down to Miami, head down to South Beach and walk down the strip. Go into some random shops and ask some locals. I can guarentee you’ll find someone who knows something.
