Do transexual people work in Bangkok bars and nightclubs?
Can you tell me if transexual people are allowed to work in Bangkok bars and nightclubs? If you just want to be with a ‘straight’ girl, how can you tell if that bar girl is a transexual or not?
There are Kratoeys, Transexuals, Ladyboys, whatever you want to call them working in all avenues of employment in Thailand. Most can be differentiated by 1) being very tall, above 5’9″; 2) have large hands, 3) large feet, 4) deeper voice than a woman and 5) a pronounced adams apple…although many have had surgery to change this item…among other things. Most will have an exaggerated sway in the bum when walking.
