Places to party it up in Calgary AB?
A friend and I are heading up to Calgary Alberta for the weekend. I have never been to any bars/nightclubs there. Any one have any suggestions where to go for good music and dancing on a Friday night?
Try the “Red Mile.” There are a bunch of nightclubs along 17th ave South, between 4th Street S.W, and about 8th Street S.W.
A word of caution though. Hockey playoffs are coming and every bar is PACKED on game nights. They close off 17th avenue on game nights, and sometimes there are tens of thousands of people!
Also check out “Tantra” on the corner of 10th avenue and 4th street S.W, the Rose and Crown on 4th street S.W between 16th and 17 ave.
