Glen Yoder ‘Hollywood’ wins the April 2010 Favorite Music Video

The music video competition has been one of MakeAStar.com’s most popular talent categories in the past year.  April saw another deep field of 16 videos, and you can watch them all in their entirety on MakeAStar.com.

The fans came out in force voting every day and two videos survived to compete in the final week.  The runner up has been a popular fixture recently, winning a favorite song contest back in December and coming oh so close to a music video title for the second straight month.  He’s Ejay Ivan Lac, a talented songwriter and electronic music producer from Bareggio Italy, and the title cut from his new full length album “Little Drink” is a wild cinematic romp through an Italian nightclub in full 70s disco regalia.

But as good as the “Little Drink” video is, it couldn’t stop the momentum of Glen Yoder.  This indie rock / folk singer from Campbellsville, Kentucky and his music video for the song “Hollywood” rolled through the money bracket to claim the $100 cash prize.  Glen was raised in the rural hills of Kentucky to a family with amish roots. But from those humble beginnings he’s become a world traveler and accomplished songwriter.  Enjoy this slice of “Hollywood”, Kentucky-style.

The “Hollywood” music video was directed by Thomas L. Phillips, a filmmaker raised in Knoxville, Tennessee whose feature film direction credits include the zombie horror romp “Special Dead” and the romantic comedy “Rattle Basket”.

Expect more great music and videos from Ejay Ivan Lac and Glen Yoder in the year ahead.  MakeAStar.com is a great destination for new talent from around the world.  Visit today and see who is on the cutting edge!
