Bahama’s hotel recommendations?
I’m planning a trip to Bahama’s and since I’ve never been, thought I’d get the advice of my trusty fellow-yahoo-answer-ites. 
I was thinking Nassau/Paradise Island because I can get a direct flight there from where I live. It’s just two of us and we aren’t into going to noisy nightclubs or being really social. We just want to get away from the city life for a few days and be somewhere quiet.
Are there any hotels you can recommend that are peaceful and relaxing? One on the beach is a must and a pool is a big plus. We just want to relax, read, sit on the beach, walk around, etc.

The RIU at Paradise Island is awesome. Way more relaxed than the giant Atlantis. It also holds less people so its much quieter and you get more attention from the staff. Its just as nice and is within walking distance if you do decide to go see the Atlantis (I recommend going there to see the aquariums). I’ve been to both places and I enjoyed the RIU much more than the Atlantis.
