GOOD Nightclubs in Southampton or Portsmouth?

I’m organizing a stag weekend – can any of you recommend a good nightclub or Bar in either Portsmouth or Southampton.

We’re 8 trendy lads in our late twenties – thanks

This really depends on what you guys are into? I wouldnt recommend anywhere in Portsmouth as I’m from Southampton you may catch something if you go there …

As for Southampton:

For live gigs look at : The joiners, The talking heads, The Guildhall and The brook

For grungy/metal/alternative music : go to Bevois Valley and go on a pub crawl

If you prefer student type bars : Bedford Place – pub crawl

If you just want to go to one club and stay there i would say either Ocean and Collins or Leisure world.

For something a bit different there is always ocean village, pub crawl your way to Grosvenor Casino

And ofcourse it wouldnt be a lads night out without a good curry (Kutis) and a strip club : FYEO
