Local Night Clubs

Does anyone know any good nightclubs/bar in the Tampa Bay, FL area?

I’ve recently moved to Florida and I’m not sure about the night life here. I’ve checked out Ybor City but I can’t stand it! It’s mostly the younger crowed and it seems like there is just WAY too much drama there. I’m looking for some place a little more up-scale. I was hoping someone from the area could fill me in.

I only heard of Ybor. I am sure there are clubs all over, like in Clearwater or St Pete.

BTW, I am in Tampa too, but I live in the northern part, and work in the southern part, on base.
