I need some information about tv speakers…?
i want to get something to improve the sound quality on my mom’s 37″ toshiba lcd tv, my mom is constantly complaining it isn’t loud enough and that’s even when it’s turned all the way up (and i agree, it is way too quiet). when i read reviews on a lot of flat panels i hear people say that the sound is usually pretty bad on ALL of them, and then they usually say to fix that they just spend $50 on some speakers or something. i just went to best buy to look at speakers and they were like 150-350 dollars and sound bars were even more. what can i get that would remedy my problem that isn’t more than about $150?
You might take a look at stereo computer speakers with a sub-woofer, but it will only play in stereo even with those, in order to get surround sound you would need some kind of processor and amp…there are also those home theater in a box systems, you could probably find those at Wal-Mart for about $150 or less, they come with a processor and a set of cheap speakers.
