PLACES YOU CAN’T AFFORD TO MISS IN LOS ANGELS

Los Angels, the city of angels is well known for Hollywood and all the movies and entertainment that come out of it every year, but what some people don’t believe is that there are actually a lot of fun, exciting stuff to do in and around the city as well; this is a little escort to some of my private beloved places to go in the city.
Disney Land
I had to put this one in first place as I can’t think of a place where I’ve had more fun in my life, this place strictly is magical and a blast. The rides are all very exciting especially the one that goes through the mountain, and not only is fun for kids, but it also is a fun place for adults as well. The park is open till late and they have good restaurants on the premises as well. This destination is legendary throughout the intact world and you will see a lot of foreigners and tourists here on an occupied day. The little expensive fee isn’t too bad considering you can be there for the complete day.
The Queen Mary
This gigantic passenger ship lays in the Port of Long Beach and is very notorious for being the luxurious ocean facing that did a thousand and one trips between the States and Europe, now the vessel has been bowed into an hotel with numerous splendid restaurants and nightclubs. People say the boat is obsessed and they have several activities on board that counting hunting for ghosts and whatnot, whether you are staying on the boat or just there for a few hours to explore, this boat is both fun and mysterious and a must see for people visiting the sphere.
Knott’s Berry Farmed
Although this legendary amusement park is no attain for Disney land it still is never the fewer a fun and exciting place to go to droop out with the kids, each of the rides has a stimulate rating and some of them get cute stitch terrifying, but of course all the extra fun. The ticket is cheaper than Disney Land but it is a smaller park so there are fewer rides to go, while with the entire long outline there are chances you might not even be able to do all the rides on a single day. A good thing about this place is that they have very cheap food and drinks, which is great to have in between a long day out in the sun.
Universal Studios
The renowned film production visitors that everybody has heard of has a huge amusement park inside as well as some brilliant restaurants. I would say that the funniest part of the studio is winning a tour through the show sets, it’s grand to see the outside set of Jaws, or the even clang from the War of the Worlds recreate, it is an amazing place and can be enjoyed by adults and children alike.

Average cost to rent out a nightclub in OC, LA, or Newport Beach CA?

im doing a research and want to know the cost of rent out a NIGHTCLUB for at least 300-600 plus people. Also, would that cost included the drinks served or would i have to provide that?

In order to do that you need to find a really big club or hotel with banquet or private party rooms. A smaller club would not want to rent out the whole club for a private party because they would have to close the door to their regular customers. Anyway they would not charge you for the room per se. You would have to buy meals for your guests at standard menu prices and pay for any drinks consumed also at standard prices. They would also add 15% gratuity to the bill. You are probably looking at $25 or so per person.

Are there any nightclubs “just” for teens around LA?

As asked.
I’ve been searching for weeks. The only two I found was Club Starz and Chain Reaction,
but those are in Orange County, I can’t get back from there with transportation after the party (if you have a way to get back from Orange County to Pasadena after 11 in 2 hours say so, too, thank you), I don’t have a car.
I’m talking about clubs for people under 18, that are open in weekly bases. Please, no Salsa or Swing club. I want the ones that are dark and people dance – not – with suit and ties. Doesn’t have to serve alcohol. I just want to have some fun.
Please, if anyone know this kind of club, answer me.

Well, you’re persistent. I hope you’re as persistent in your school work!

There really isn’t anything around Pasadena/LA, if there was, I would know. There have been private parties off of facebook and flyers, but because of the deaths, the liability is just too great (major lawsuits), so those have mostly stopped. Big private teen parties are kept super quiet now, no all school parties anymore. Parents don’t want to be sued when someone ends up in a car accident or worse.

There are teen country club dances, but those are only for members and you would know about them if you were a member. Like I wrote before, contact some community centers (all over LA, look at city websites) and see if they have any dances. Coral Center has really good (cheap) summer teen programs and is connected to most teen services around Pasadena and the only dance I heard about was one in August. http://coralcenter.org/ (They don’t have this year’s program up yet, but you can see last year’s.) I think you need to keep busy!

And those activities aren’t boring! My son goes with a bunch of friends (girls and guys) and has a great time, and he’s done all sorts of things most teens haven’t, so he’s rather hard to amuse. It’s about who you are with, more than what you’re doing. Get some friends to hang out with, and you’ll have a good time no matter where you are.

What is there to do in Pasadena, California?

Im going to a wedding on the 23rd and I have never been to California before. Any good places to eat? What about shopping?? Anything will help…Please. I like museums, amusement parks, and nightclubs/bars. Im 23 so Im up for anything. Any trendy, but cheap stores in the area? Not vintage though..

Well, for one thing, Disneyland and Knott’s Berry Farm are about 30 miles from Pasadena.
The La Brea Tar Pits and Natural History Museum are about 15 miles away.
The Norton Simon Museum of Arts and The Huntington Library are right there in Pasadena.
The Los Angeles Garment District is a great place to shop.
Hollywood and that whole scene are about 20 miles away.

I am in my early 20′s and I am visiting LA and San Diego on 16th Jan. I don’t know anyone there and would like to know what are some of the good places I should go to.. Disneyland in Anaheim is always fun. The House of Blues in Downtown Disney is a fun nightclub next to Disneyland. You also might want to get tickets to attend the Jay Leno show, Jimmy Kimmel, or Ellen. You can get Leno tickets (free) at: http://www.tonightshowinfo.com/

You will find many good nightclubs in San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter. This area also has lots of great restaurants and places to stay. It’s a young crowd (mostly 20s), interactive and lots of fun.

my friends and i are going to orlando next month i already know we’re going to island of adventure and the boston lobster feast. but where are some of the hot nightclubs that plays mostly hip-hop/rap? and can someone also recommend more restaurants and places to shop?!

The Story Behind The Go-Go Song

The story theme takes place in two major locations, in a Latino bar and on the streets in major cities at night in the world. The chronicle is the parallel tale of a man walking around the world at night and the same man singing with his band in a Latin Club. The message is people are go-go everywhere. From Los Angeles to Barcelona or even from Paris to New York everyone is go-go where everyone’s nobody anywhere.

Part of the story happens in a live music club. The singer is going to his showcase to sing with his band and play at a Latino nightclub somewhere but location is not defined to the audience (yet we should have some Latino feel). We want to give the impression of proximity to most people. This picture represents cities so it does convey the message.

The next set of shots feature the singer, the crowd and his band in the club. There are dancers and other hip people in the room. Those dancers could be coming from anywhere in the world so we need different ethnicity (African American, Asian, White and European). The video is shot with dynamism and sensuality so the need of good-looking people (actors/actresses) and female/male dancers is mandatory especially when the salsa part starts in the song. Image has color reduction. It gives a feel of reality in this video clip rich in lighting nuances and Latino ambiance.

In the club on the forefront there is the band with drums, percussion, guitars, bass and brass section. The dancers are on the dance floor some maybe one or two on stage. There is a full crowd maybe at band level or musicians are on an elevated stage. When the salsa rhythm begins, numerous couples dance together with sensuality a little like the dirty dancing in Havana movie. The singer might join the crowd at some point. The party should look passionate, sensual and fun.

The main action takes place in a club but the changing cities are interesting (LA, NYC, Paris, and Barcelona). The singer, the main character is also walking around the world in major cities at night singing the verse while walking on the streets. He will wear the same clothes giving a timeless sense, such as all of this action happened tonight. Clothes are a hat, jacket, maybe a scarf jeans and boots. While on the streets he will sing the lines. If shooting in different cities is not possible we might end up using one location only, which will eventually take away the eccentricity in the video and its interest. We want to generate the idea that it can happen next door from the avenues in Paris to Time Square in New York or from Hollywood Boulevard in LA to The Old Town Square in Barcelona.

The right nuances such as color reduction and location are key in this tale. They give a hip look to the short scenes and merge well with night shots. We also want to avoid being too neutral in colors. Video should not look like any other homemade video. It is not. The image must be pleasant to watch and catchy (avoid grainy images). Therefore we should watch for lighting and image settings.

At the end we want the crowd to sing the English Chorus. So we should teach the crowd to sing the lines as a crowd or find a way to record voices singing those lines in English. Either we use the sound from the room or we record voices in another studio.
