good karaoke place in San Francisco?
I need to find a new karaoke bar since I just moved to the area, preferably something around the Sutter/Powell area or a short distance from. Suggestions?
There is a Mexican Restaurant Los Socios on Powell at Sutter that features Karaoke though I don’t know how good or not it is.
The one place nearby that I think is good is Encore, Encore on California at Polk.

Final art piece, any ideas?
Im doing art and design in year 13 and the topic is LIGHT.
Im struggling to come up with some ideas for a final piece.
Ive done a lot of work on eyes/animal eyes, my friends faces using lighting and then manipulating them on the pc to change the colour.
I also looked at neon colours and lights like the ones advertises bars and nightclubs.
I need a final piece that can link my work together and that has something to do with LIGHT.
It can be a painting, textile piece or a sculpture. My strongest point would be a sculpture.
It would be great if anyone has any ideas as i am stumped
thanks
Ox
If you wish to combine it all you can make a sculpture or a painting of an eye and also play with light as a reflection. This would be the twist to this. Think of whom the eye belongs to. Say it was a women, man or child. Show the reflection of what they are looking at. If it’s a human it could be them in a museum with the reflection of what they are seeing plus what surrounds them. It can also be someone reading a News paper, include type and photos. It can be someone looking at a one or a child playing hind and go seek. Remember you are using there face or part of it with the reflection of the eyes being the focus of your painting or sculpture.

The biggest and best of all the themed limousines has to be the superb Party Bus limousine. Very popular for hen nights, school proms, birthdays and even weddings; this astounding limo can hold up to 28 people in some cases. Limo hire London has got the biggest at 28, with limo hire Birmingham having the 16 seater version. All the Party Bus limos have excellent extras inside them including karaoke machines, smoke machines, bubble machines, touch screen music systems, on tap bar facilities, poker dens, playboy dens, dance pole, colour changing disco ceiling, strobe lighting, fibre optics and even a courier service to bring your drinks to you.
There are a vast range of different themes to the Party Bus limos throughout the UK; this can include the Pink Panther Party Bus, the New York Party Bus, the Simpson Party Bus and many more. In some cases the Party Bus limos is not actually a bus at all but a converted van. Always been aware of the limousine you are renting, if the limo is advertised as a Party Bus make sure it is the one you want as it could be a van.
Some of the Party Vans are very good such as the Simpsons Party Van, equipped with sweet machines and DVD players blasting out episodes of the Simpsons. But if you want a real Party Bus then the Pink Panther Party Bus, New York Party Bus and the black Party Limo Coach have to be the ones to go for.

Green Bay Packer memorabilia is a must have for any sports enthusiast! The Green Bay Packers have one of the most storied histories in all of NFL. A mere mention of the Packers brings up images of die hard fans and sport legends playing infamous games that fans still love to reminisce about today. I think it would be rare occasion indeed to go somewhere in WI and not see the famous “G” logo on clothing, dangling from purses or key chains, even license plates bear the green and gold!
Packers Art is Everywhere!
Sports bars and eateries are common place in every corner of America now and it is not unusual to see Green Bay Packers art on the walls of these establishments even outside of WI. I remember on a trip to CA our family was in the LA airport lounge getting a soda and seeing a Ray Nitschke fine art print by sports artist Andy Goralski on the wall! Visit sports bars and restaurants from FL to CA and you will find Packers fans in every state. The far reaching effects of this beloved team on the general public is a testament to the rich history and respect fans have for their beloved Green Bay Packers.
Investing in Sports Art
Sports art has become big business for many collectors. The secondary market can produce a nice return on sports art. Be it from the athletes signature alone or a combination of the artist and athlete signature, profits from reselling at the right time can be quite lucrative. Naturally a print that has sold out commands the higher prices. I know one man that bought a few extra prints, hung on to them for awhile and resold them on the secondary market and used that money to take his family on a nice vacation!
WI Sports Artists
Andy Goralski is probably one the most well known Packers sports artists. His works are seen across the state and across the nation! He has painted some of the Green Bay Packers greats including Vince Lombardi, Brett Farve, Reggie White, Ray Nitschke, LeRoy Butler, Bart Starr, Robert Brooks and now his new piece titled ‘From Leather to Legendary’. You may have seen Andy Goralski as a featured artist on Channel 10/36 auction over the years. If you attend any fund raisers you will likely have seen his works at those auctions as well. Sports artist Andy Goralski has recently released his new painting of the original Acme Packers complete with their leatherhead helmets and the legendary newly renovated Lambeau Field directly behind Curly Lambeau’s Acme Packer’s. Check out his new print at coleengoralski.com
S. Nica is an avid football fan particularly the Green Bay Packers! A collector of fine art sports prints. See ‘From Leather to Legendary’ by sports artist Andy Goralski. The original Acme Packers with Curly Lambeau and the newly renovated Lambeau Field rising in the mist behind the legendary team makes a great gift!

Locksmith; Houston Locksmith Article
Back then, before technology and Internet took over our daily live, we used to know the local locksmith. He was one of the people we knew. He lived in our neighborhood, and we called him by his name. In many countries in the world it is still like that. Whenever we needed a locksmith. And every time we needed anything to do with locks, our neighborhood locksmith was there. He was part of our social life and a very important services provider.
Now, cities have become huge. No more small towns and neighborhood. In our days, thousands of people in a small geographic area, hundreds of thousands of people, in small town. We lost that intimate connection that we used to have with our neighborhood locksmith. We don’t know his name anymore. Technology has taken over our lives. When we are locked-out of our car, house, apartment or business; we call 411, look-up on the smart I-phones, internet etc. Our lifestyles have changed; we come home late at night, after long nights at the bars, sometimes drunk. Our daily activities have changed and we are on the go all day, lots of stress. We have keys for our car, house, mailbox, office, you name it. Our daily dependence on keys, have increased significantly. And therefore we lose more keys, and now we need a locksmith 24/7. Such as Locksmith-Houston-Texas.com.

And in some unfortunate situation such as: inspecting your house after a burglary, vandalism, earthquake or fire.
Traditionally, locksmiths have been thought of as magicians, and yes magicians do have a lot of the Houston locksmiths skills (Houdini was one of the best locksmiths) otherwise they could not escape that easily from some weird places. The funny thing is, locks principals function, have not changed that much in the last 200 years, they all work with the same basic mechanism.
Many Emergency Houston locksmith companies in Houston are specializing in 24 hour locksmith service. Our 24/7 Emergency Houston locksmith in Houston provides a fast and reliable services on site: Lockouts (Cars, Residential and Commercial) Cutting keys for cars and Motorcycles. Any life-threaten situations; we refer our customers to 911, where the emergency services are trained to handle these kind of situations.
Locksmith advice in Burglary cases:
In case of a burglary, the first thing you need to do is to call the police.
Not to touch the Doors locks and basically not to “Contaminate the scene “in the police slang.
Call a locksmith.
Consult the locksmith what are the best options to protect your property.
Have locksmith change the locks on the doors.

Ne-Yo Brings The “Champagne Life” To Chicago- www.hautechicago.com

I plan on moving at least 10 hours away from where I am currently and am scared to death…?
I have multiple questions actually.
Little background: I will be graduating from grad school in May ’09 and have decided to do a 1-year residency. I currently live in Tennessee and, for lots of different reasons, want to move away. My top 4 choices are Chicago, Minneapolis, Madison (WI), and Dallas. I’m looking for bigger cities with lots to do (not necessarily nightclubs and bars, but museums and outdoors activities, festivals, etc.). I also need a liberal/progressive (i.e., gay-friendly) city. And someplace where crime isn’t a huge issue. I realize big cities are always going to have higher crime rates than more rural areas, but there are varying degrees.
So…
1. Any other cities that could be recommended?
2. I’m actually very interested in Chicago, but I’ve never lived in a big city and just looking at the public transportation system overwhelms me… Any advice?
3. Any information on any of the cities listed above?
Thanks!
Chicago is a very nice place to live but so is Dallas. I think as far as prices go, Dallas is cheaper then Chicago. There is also alot of things to do in Dallas and Ft Worth is right next to Dallas so you kind havwe 2 big cities right next to each other. It’s a hard choice because I like both of those cities. I know both cities are both liberal and are making progression and the public transporation is good in both places. Why not try doing some research on these places and see what they have to offer. I live in Texas and I can tell you people here are friendly to everyone. We are a big melting pot which is why I love it:)))))))
