Chicago: Where to watch the national championship game?
I just moved here and don’t have DirecTV yet, so I need to go to a bar to watch the game. The few I’ve called in the Loop seem oblivious to the fact that college football exists. So my question is what bar is going to be going crazy for this game? I heard Wrigleyville is good for sports but which bar is the best there?

Best BBQ and Best Sports Bar in Fort Worth, Texas?
I am heading to the Ft. Worth area in March, around the time of March Madness.
My boyfriend and I are looking for GREAT sports bars to watch the games at all day Thursday and Friday. We want a place that’s comfortable to sit and watch basketball ALL day and has good food. Also we’re looking for any BBQ suggestions as well.

The bar is more important than the BBQ, it hurts to say that.
I would recommend AGAINST Gaylord, as you will need to take out a loan just for the parking.
Buffalo wings on 183 around Central (www.buffalowings.com) is comfortable, lots of TVS, excellent bar and snacks.

BBQ at Colter’s is hard to beat, but there’s also a new place called Hard 8 in Coppell (Bethel & Freeport) that’s darn good too — altho more expensive than Colter’s.

Salt Lake City, UT: Any nice hotels with a bar/restaurant?
Hi everyone,
I have a few co-workers that are going to Salt Lake City for a conference and they would like to stay at a hotel that has a bar/restaurant in it that serves alcohol. I know this is a stretch but does anyone have a few suggestions. Nothing too pricey, we are trying to work on a budget.

Your co-workers are stereotyping Salt Lake City. Most finer restaurants, and hotels that include a restaurant serve alcoholic drinks. It is one of the most profitable part of their business.

What’s going on in Toronto, Ontario Easter weekend?
My wife and I are meeting my father and his gf in Toronto Easter weekend, April 8&9. We are looking for something interesting to do, as none of us are from the Toronto area we are not sure of good things to do. We are not in to the bar scene or sporting events. Any help would be nice.
I have tried searching the internet. But, I have had no luck.
Because it is Easter weekend, there will NOT be a lot of stores open. I would have to suggest checking out the science centre, Eaton’s centre, art museum, check out the CN Towner, go to a Blue Jays Baseball game, go to the zoo, the ROM, and walk around Chinatown.
You can also go for a tour of the CBC, or Much Music, be in the audience of CityLine (in the CityTV studio) for free (it is like a women’s show… but they give away free things once in awhile).
Oh yeah! Also: Hockey Hall of Fame. It is small, but kinda cool. Or the World’s Biggest Book Store (it is pretty cool) Sam the Record Man (the original store, and it is massive!), check out Queen’s Park (only during the day), go down to the harbour (though it kinda smells bad sometimes)….

I am an African American girl looking for a where my friends and I can only rest. We are tired of the same old bar scene here in San Diego … a group of belligerent drunk lol … we find a place where music is a little cooler, where the atmosphere is a bit colder, and people are a little less "out here" lol. NeoSoul, R & B, underground hip hop, reggae … Where are the hotspots?

Ok so I decided to move to Providence to go to college and I was wondering what are the high and low parts?
When I say low and high I mean living there such as crime,bars, sports, weather anything in that nature.
I haven’t been to R.I. recently, but when I was out there 15 years ago, the cost of living was high… stuff was expensive… rent, food, entertainment, etc. But, the area is scenic, with the bay and ocean nearby. There is alot to see and do. Lots of history in New England as a whole. The weather wasn’t all that bad, either. The proximity to the sea helps that. However, winters can be unpredictable. A Nor’easter in March has been known to cause a couple week’s worth of travel-related misery, now & then. (The college should have a place for getting the other crime info.)

Texas, Tennessee, or Kentucky?
My picks: First, Texas. Second (by a longshot, but I still love it,) Tennessee.
Texas: some of the friendliest people anywhere; huge, thriving cities (D/FW, Austin, San Antonio, Houston,) great job market, eclecticism in Austin, history in San Antonio and Ft. Worth, beaches, mountains, prairies, deserts, corn nuggets, Houston Astros, a great state! And the women…wow!
Tennessee: laid-back, people are shy at first but easy to warm up to you, beautiful mountains, music scene in Nashville, the bars and blues in Memphis, Fort Donelson, nothing like the smell of a pine forest on a rainy day! I honestly think it’s the most beautiful of the three states!
Kentucky, while beautiful, is no hotbed of economic growth and progessive thinking. The politicians have helped to prohibit growth and development. People are, by and large, very snooty and hateful; small towns are very sheltered and closed off to “the outside.” I’m a native who has NEVER felt comfortable or at home there.
Tennessee.
Texas is hot.
I’ve never been to Kentucky.
