I have 22 years and work in downtown Minneapolis. Debate on the extension to the north-east or Uptown. What is the best?
Looking live within walking distance of bars, entertainment and travel by bus from downtown. I am not liberal or think I'm in fashion, so I'm reluctant to Uptown. But the east-northeast is too family oriented?
Uptown may be better for you because of the large platform 29 and Hennepin bus (# 6.12, 17 and 21 and some others) for all runs. Depending on where you installed, there are two grocery stores – Rainbow food store and 28 Dupont and Lunds Lake Street a few blocks west of Hennepin. Uptown is Tamer was a bit until a year. (Having lived here for over 20 years.) Volience is rare moments, but I still feel safe. Another reason Uptown living lake is nearby. NE Minneapolis came to his own and many other clubs and restaruarnts five years ago. I went looking for a clean, safe place to live reasonably …. then find an apartment, Click on Craigslist (see link) and the first of next month, you will find several places. Happy hunting!
