Planning a wedding in KC. What’s the average per head for a buffet style dinner reception?
Looking at a buffet style dinner during the reception which will take place in Kansas City. Will be looking to stay somewhat simple, yet i refuse to serve crap. Will be looking to serve a fish, chicken, beef, and a vegetarian dish, along with sides.
anyone have a thought regarding cost per head with the following options:
1) just the food listed above
2) with the food above, and beer/wine available with a cash bar
3) with the food above, and an open bar for four hours.
appreciate your thoughts.
Buffets can be more expensive.

I served a Cesare salad, stuffed shells and shrimp and stuffed mushrooms through a private caterer and it was the lowest cost thing I could find, I went a little larger for the shrimp.
